✾ Two Tone Daisy Card ✾
I hope you are all well.
Today I have come to share with you how I made the above double daisy; thank you card.
As always, I wanted to try something a little different to what I normally make and today's card is what I have come up with.
I decided to go the neutral toned route because I rarely use these ink pads and I wanted to see if they would work on a card.
I really like how the earthy tones and the copper from the embossing powder look together.
What do you think?? I would love to hear your thoughts on today's card :)
I have used the Daisy Delight Bundle today.
I think this bundle is an absolute bargain and a must have for anyone's collection. If you would like to see more details of this set and/or to purchase this item. I will leave a link to where you can purchase it from Stampin' Up down below.
Card Base -
Chocolate Chip card stock - 12 x 6 inches (31 x 15 1/2 cms)
Score @ 6 inches (15 1/2 cms)
Other Card stock needed -
Very Vanilla card stock - 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches (14 1/2 x 14 1/2 cms)
Sahara Sand card stock - 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches (14 x 14 cms)
An extra piece of card stock to punch out the daisy shape.
Inks used -
From the scrap piece of card stock, use the daisy punch to cut the daisy shape out.
Make sure to centre the punch when cutting as you will be using the piece of card stock that has been cut from as your stencil.
Using a dauber/sponge and the Sahara Sand ink pad, stamp the daisy stencil in different spots of the Sahara Sand card stock.
Re-position the stencil on each of the daisies you stamped but turn the petals slightly so that you will be stamping in between the already stamped petals.
Stamp over each daisy, now using the Chocolate Chip ink pad.
Finally on each daisy. Stamp the daisy from the bundles stamp set with Versamark.
Sprinkle over the Copper Embossing Powder.
Using a heat tool; set the powder.
Ink around the edges of the card stock with the Chocolate Chip ink pad.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set and has been stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock.
Use the Chocolate Chip ink pad to stamp your sentiment.
Stamp off of the card and then re-stamp the sentiment slightly under where the wording is.
This will give a shadow effect to your wording.
With the Sahara Sand ink pad, stamp the small three daisy stamp from the set; above and below the wording.
Using dimensional's, back your sentiment piece on to a piece of Chocolate Chip card stock that is 1/4 inch larger than your sentiment piece.
Time to build the card...
Back the card front piece on to the layering piece of Very Vanilla card stock using dimensional's.
Then attach the card front to the card base with tear and tape.
Also use tear and tape to attach the sentiment onto the card front piece.
You now have a double daisy effect card with a bronzed finish :)
I hope you have enjoyed today's tutorial.
As always, I will link where you can purchase everything I have used today, down below.
I hope you all have a lovely rest of your day and I will see you tomorrow.
Take care & Always sparkle
