🙛 Fresh Fig Floral Card 🙙

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you have all had a lovely weekend and you all managed to get some time to enjoy your crafting; even if it was just enough time to start your next project :)

Today I have come on here to share with you the above project.
I really like how the two types of flowers go together on this card and the colour I have chosen to make them, goes so well with the colour of Fresh Fig.

I have made this beautiful coloured card using the following two stamps sets..

Garden in Bloom & Daisy Delight

Garden In Bloom Photopolymer Stamp SetDaisy Delight Photopolymer Bundle

Both are from Stampin' Up and are available to order from the new catalogue. Links to where you can purchase both stamp sets; through me. Will be at the end of today's tutorial.

Card base - Early Espresso card stock - 10 x 6 inches (25 x 15 1/2 cms)

Score @ 5 inches (13 cms)

3 pieces of Very Vanilla card stock will be needed -

1 piece @ 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches (11 1/2 x 14 cms)

1 piece @ 2 1/4 x 4 1/2 inches (5 1/2 x 11 1/2 cms)

The third piece needed is for stamping the flowers and leaves on to.

2 pieces of your chosen Design Series Paper will be needed. (I have used the in-colour DSP pack in the colour Fresh Fig)

1 piece @ 4 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches (12 1/2 x 14 1/2 cms)

1 piece @ 3 x 4 1/2 inches (7 1/2 x 11 1/2 cms)

From the Garden in Bloom stamp set, you will need the largest flower and the largest leaf stamp.

Stamp the flower twice, both using a Fresh Fig ink pad. On to your piece of scrap Very Vanilla card stock.

Using the fill in stamp for this flower. Stamp both flowers with a Pink Pirouette ink pad.

The leaves have been stamped with a Garden Green ink pad and coloured with Pear Pizzazz ink.

Fussy cut both of the flowers and the leafs out.

From the Daisy Delight Bundle.

Stamp two of the daisies onto the scrap piece of Very Vanilla card stock using the Pink Pirouette ink pad.

Cut both daisies out with the punch that comes in the bundle and then ink the edges with the Fresh Fig ink pad.

On the piece of Very Vanilla card stock which measures 2 1/4 x 4 1/2 inches (5 1/2 x 11 1/2 cms). Stamp the sentiment.

The sentiment I used is again from the Garden in Bloom stamp set. This has been stamped using the Fresh Fig ink pad.

Also from the same stamp set, I have used the bee stamp along with a Smoky Slate ink pad.

Now time to build your card....

Onto the largest piece of Very Vanilla card stock. Place the smaller piece of DSP that you have cut; on an angle. (see photo) Attach this with tear and tape.

With your sentiment piece. Attach to the right hand side of the card front, straight. Make sure that it overlaps with the DSP. Use dimensional's to attach.

Using glue dots and dimensional's. Attach the three flowers and the leaves to the bottom left hand corner.

You can now attach the card front to the largest piece of Fresh Fig DSP with dimensional's.

Finally, with tear and tape. Attach the card front piece to the card base.

Optional finishing touch is to add a bow of coordinating ribbon at the top edge in a central position.
