🙒 Feathery Friends Note Card 🙑

Hello Everyone!!

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend.

Today I am here to showcase the above card which is using two of the brand new stamp sets from Stampin' Up.

The sets I have used today are called Feathery Friends and Background Bits.

Both are Hostess stamp sets, which are available if you host a Stampin' Up party, spend over £150 on a single order or order as a Stampin' Up Demonstrator.

I have already used the Background Bits set with so many projects. It is definitely going to be appearing on my favourites list for June :)

Card base - Fresh Fig card stock - 10 x 6 inches (26 x 15 1/2 cms)

Score @ 5 inches (13 cms)

Mid-Layer - Powder Pink card stock - 4 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches (12 x 14 1/2 cms)

Card front - Very Vanilla card stock - 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches (11 1/2 x 14 cms)

You will also 3 more pieces of Very Vanilla card stock -

1 piece @ 2 x 3 inches (5 x 7 1/2 cms)

1 piece @ 2 x 2 1/2 inches (5 x 6 1/2 cms)

1 piece @ 2 x 2 inches (5 x 5 cms)

Ink pads used for today's card -

Fresh Fig

Pear Pizzazz

Powder Pink

Sahara Sand

On the three pieces and the card front piece of Very Vanilla card stock.

Use daubers or sponges, to ink around the edges of each piece with the Powder Pink and Sahara Sand ink pads.

Also bring the colour towards the centre of each piece of card stock.

With the Pear Pizzazz ink pad, ink one or twice around the edges of the smaller three pieces of card stock.

Once happy with the colour, time to decorate.

I have used the wavy leaf stem from the Feathery Friends stamp set on each piece of Very Vanilla card stock in Pear Pizzazz ink.
Use the stamp off and on technique for the leafy stems to make a very subtle colour of green. I stamped off twice and then stamped onto my card.

The rest of the background pattern is from the Background Bits stamp set.

Stamp the script stamp with the Sahara Sand ink pad.

Stamp the group of flowers stamp with the Powder Pink ink pad.

Stamp the square patterned stamp with the Sahara Sand ink pad.

The above stamps also were stamped with the stamp off and on technique.

Once you are happy with how your background for each piece looks.

Stamp the single flower from the Background Bits stamp set with the Fresh Fig ink pad on to the 2 x 2 1/2 inch (5 x 6 1/2 cms) piece of card stock. (stamp the ink off once before stamping on the piece of card stock)

From the Feathery Friends stamp set, stamp the bird that is facing to the right in Fresh Fig ink onto the largest of the three pieces of card stock.

Stamp the bird facing to the left; again in Fresh Fig ink, onto the square piece of card stock.

Attach each of the small pieces of card stock on to your card front (as shown in photo above) using dimensional's.

Also with dimensional's, attach the card front piece to the Powder Pink card stock. Then place on to the card base using tear and tape.

The sentiment is from the stamp set; Designer Tin of Card. - Now Retired
