🙝 Dragonfly Layered Card 🙞

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!

I hope you all are having a productive fabulous week :)

Today's make is this beautiful pink, layered dragonfly card. Which I think is a lovely project for anyone, especially those that are still growing their crafting stash. It only uses two colours of card stocks and two ink pads.

This card is focused around the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set and the Detailed Dragonfly thinlits set; both from Stampin' Up. I have used these two products so much since purchasing them. I think they are beautiful and I really like the font of the sentiments in the stamp set too.

Also for this card I have used two stamps from the Touch of Textures stamp set.

Touches Of Texture Clear-Mount Stamp Set
(The stamps that were used from this set were the small dragonfly stamp and the floral stamp that is in the top right hand corner)

1 piece @ 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches (9 x 9 cms)

Ink pads used -

Powder Pink

Memento Tuxedo Black

Using the two stamps from the Touches of Texture and the large dragonfly from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set.

Stamp randomly over all pieces of Powder Pink card stock including the front of the card base. Use the Powder Pink ink pad to do this.

From your chosen Design Series Paper, cut out the group of dragonflies thinlits. Enough, so that you are able to cut out the eight dragonflies which are needed to form the circle.

I used the In-colour floral DSP from Stampin' Up in the colour Powder Pink. I cut out 4 sets of the dragonflies but used both sides of the paper.

On the smallest piece of Very Vanilla card stock. Stamp your sentiment using the Memento Black ink pad.

With a fine glue tip pen, arrange your cut out dragonflies in a circular shape.

Time to build the card...

Using tear and tape, attach the piece of Powder Pink card stock that measures 5 1/4 inches square (13 1/2 cms square) to the piece of Very Vanilla card stock which is 1/4 of any inch bigger.

Follow by attaching it to the card base, again with tear and tape.

Attach the two remaining pieces of Very Vanilla and Powder Pink card stock together, using dimensional's. (not including your sentiment piece)

With tear and tape, place the above piece onto the card base.

Using dimensional's attach the sentiment piece into the centre of the card front.

Finish off by placing a glitter enamel dot in each corner of the sentiment piece.

I hope you have enjoyed today's tutorial. As always, all products used will be listed just below.

Have a wonderful day and I will see you all tomorrow.

Take care and Always sparkle
