🙗 Dino-rrific Birthday Card 🙔

Hi Everyone,

Today I wanted to come and show you a card I have made using a stamp set that I have recently purchased and I LOVE it! :)

I have two dinosaur mad little boys who are 4 and 6 years old and they had been asking me to buy this set from Stampin' Up for ages. As their birthdays are both coming up, I thought now would be the time because at least then I would have an idea what to use it for. But honestly, since it has been delivered. I cannot stop playing with it.

The dinos in the set are so cute and I love the fact that you also get the stamps for the dinosaurs skeletons. I have so many ideas to use these stamps, so if you love them as much as I do. Keep an eye out for future projects :)

The stamp set I am talking about is the "No Bones about it" stamp set.

No Bones About It Photopolymer Stamp Set

Look how cute it is!!

For today's card, I have used this stamp set alongside the set called Butterfly Basics. The large fern stamp you get in the Butterfly Basics stamp set pairs up perfectly with the dinosaurs.

Score @ 6 inches (15 1/2 cms)

Card stock used -

Whisper White card stock -

Basic Gray card stock -

1 piece @ 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches (15 x 15 cms)

Ink pad colours used -

Garden Green

Peekaboo Peach

Sahara Sand

Basic Gray

On the smaller piece of white card stock, stamp three of the dinosaurs facing in all directions using the following colours.

Garden Green for the Triceratops (The horned dinosaur)

Peekaboo Peach for the Diplodocus (The long necked dinosaur)

Sahara Sand for the Stegasaurus. (The dinosaur with the plates on its back)

All of the dinosaurs were stamped using the stamp off and on technique.

Using the Basic Gray ink pad. Stamp on the dinosaurs skeletons.

Once you have finished stamping the skeletons. Back the piece of white card on to the piece of grey card stock using dimensional's.

On the larger piece of white card stock.

Stamp the large fern from the Butterfly Basics stamp set with the Garden Green ink pad, twice into opposite corners.

In the other two corners, stamp the small fern leaf from the dinosaur stamp set; three times with the Garden Green ink pad.

Using the Sahara Sand ink pad, stamp the pointy set of footprints stamp on all four sides; in line with the large ferns.

The small flower from the butterfly stamp set; as you can see. Has been stamped in each corner using the Peekaboo Peach ink pad.

Back the white card stock onto the larger piece of grey card stock with dimensional's.

Place the dinosaur layer on top of the larger layer and attach the two pieces together using tear and tape. This is now your card front.

Now you can attach the card front piece to the card base; also using the tear and tape.

To make the sentiment, I have stamped two of the sentiments that are in the dinosaur stamp set together onto a piece of Whisper White card stock.

One of the sentiments has been stamped in Basic Gray ink and the other has been stamped underneath using the Peakaboo Peach ink pad.

Using a pair of scissors. Cut little triangles out of some of the edges around the sentiments.

Back your sentiment piece onto some grey card stock using dimensional's and again cut out the same triangles as you cut before.

Attach to a piece of Basic Black card stock.

With tear and tape, place the sentiment into the centre of the card front.

Voila! Your card is now complete :)

I had so much fun making this card and I hope if you try this card out for yourself. You will have as much fun as I did :)
