🙐 Coffee Cup Fathers Day Card 🙓
Thank you for popping over here today, I hope you all have had a lovely weekend.
Today, I am sharing with you all how I made this cute coffee cup card.
I really like the contrast of the coloured in images against the wood effect tiles. I think the two together give this card a very modern look :)
The coffee cup images are from one of the new paper packs from Stampin' Up.
Just Add Colour speciality Designer Series Paper
I can not wait to have lots of fun working with these sheets for different cards :)
Card base -
Sahara Sand card stock - 10 x 5 inches (26 x 13 cms)
Score @ 5 inches (13 cms)
Other card stock -
Sahara Sand - 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches (11 1/2 x 11 1/2 cms)
Whisper White -
1 piece @ 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 inches (12 x 12 cms)
1 piece @ 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches (9 1/2 x 9 1/2 cms)
Stamp set used -
Ink pads used -
Using the wood effect stamp from the Timeless Textures set with the Sahara Sand ink pad. Stamp all over the piece of whisper white card stock which measures 3 3/4 inches (9 1/2 cms)
In certain areas of the card stock, re stamp the wood effect but this time using the chocolate chip ink pad.
Also using the chocolate chip ink pad, stamp the coffee stain stamp from the set in a few different areas.
Cut this piece of whisper white into 1 1/4 inch squares. (3 1/2 cms)
Cut the piece of sahara sand card stock into squares that measure 1 1/2 inches (4 cms)
You should have 9 pieces of both card stock.
For each square of sahara sand card stock. Attach a square of whisper white card stock over the top; using dimensionals.
Use markers to colour in the five coffee/tea cups you want to use from the Just Add Colour paper.
Once you have coloured the cups, fussy cut around each one of them.
Attach the remaining piece of whisper white card stock onto the card base using tear and tape.
Arrange the wood effect tiles on to the whisper white card and once you are happy with the placement. Use tear and tape to attach them.
Using glue dots/tape. Place a cup in each of the four corner tiles and the centre tile.
Now all that is left to complete your card is the sentiment.
The sentiment I chose for my card today is from the stamp set World Best Trophy. (Stampin' Up)
Use dimensional's to secure your sentiment to the centre of the card front.
The card is now complete :)
I hope you have enjoyed today's tutorial and once again. Thank you so much for popping over today :)
As always everything I have used today will be listed down below.
I hope you all have a lovely day and I will see you tomorrow.
Take care & Always sparkle
