🙒 Rainy Days Note card 🙑
Good Morning Everyone,
I hope you are all well and getting a good start to your Wednesday :)
I am here to share with you today's card :)
I could not do a retiring product focus week without including one of my favourite paper packs.
The Irresistibly Floral Designer Series Paper.
I have achieved so many different looks for cards from this one paper pack.
Each of the papers have been embossed with patterns such as floral, diamonds, the rain drops you see on my card today, stripes and more.
When you ink or add colour to these papers, the pattern that is on them retracts the ink so you are left with a white pattern to your newly coloured card stock.
So much versatility within one pack of paper and the best news of all, is that this product is currently reduced in price! I will leave the link to the item down below so you can go and see the savings you could make :)
Card base - Basic Black card stock - 7 1/2 x 5 6/8 inches (20 x 15 cms)
Score @ 3 6/8 inches (10 cms)
Irresistibly Floral DSP - 2 pieces
1 piece @ 2 3/4 x 4 1/2 inches (7 x 11 1/2 cms)
1 piece @ 3 1/4 x 5 inches (8 1/2 x 13 cms)
Basic Black Card stock - 2 pieces
1 piece @ 3 x 4 5/8 inches (8 x 12 cms)
1 piece @ 3 1/2 x 5 1/4 inches (9 x 13 1/2 cms)
Tempting Turquoise Card stock - 1 piece
1 piece @ 3 5/8 x 5 1/2 inches (9 1/2 x 14 cms)
You will need the following ink pads -
Night of Navy
Using a dauber or a sponge, ink both of the pieces of DSP with the Marina Mist ink pad so that they are fully covered.
On the larger piece of DSP, ink and darken the edges and corners; again with the Marina Mist ink pad.
On the smaller piece of DSP, ink and darken the edges and corners using the Night of Navy ink pad.
The stamp set that has been used for today's card is the set, Beautiful You.
Using the stamp of the lady standing with the umbrella. Stamp the image towards the right of the smallest piece of DSP, using the Night of Navy ink pad.
Underneath the lady, stamp the smallest shadow stamp from the set; twice. Also using the Night of Navy ink pad.
Now time to build up the card...
With dimensional's, back the smallest piece of DSP on to the smallest piece of Basic Black card stock that you have cut.
Now, also using dimensional's, attach the larger piece of DSP to the remaining piece of Basic Black card stock.
Adhere the two layered pieces together using tear and tape.
Also, with tear and tape, secure the piece of Tempting Turquoise card stock to the card base.
Use tear and tape to also attach the layered card front piece to the Tempting Turquoise card stock.
Voila! You are finished! :)
I hope you have enjoyed making today's card with me and I have been able to show you, just how quick it can be to make up a little note card or card for a loved one :)
