🙚 Layered Daisy Card 🙘
Good Morning Everyone! I hope you have all had a lovely weekend.
I have been speaking to a few of you recently and please let me thank you for all of your feedback and comments. They mean the world to me :)
A couple of you have said that you would really like to be able to try the style of card, but you just need to build up your stash.
This got me thinking about could I make a card with the normal "look" I like to do. But also using as little number of products as possible and this pretty daisy card is what I came up with.
Today's card uses one colour of card stock, three coloured ink pads and a black ink pad. (You could use any stamps that you own )
The daisy style theme to this card was inspired by a lovely lady on Facebook who is also a member to a group I am in. She made a beautiful card with the same daisy stamp as I have used today. The card had a navy and yellow colour combination and the end result was so, so pretty, I asked her if I could CASE the card and she was lovely enough to allow me to :) So thank you Julie Scaparra :)
The stamp sets I have used today are the Daisy Delight stamp set from Stampin' Up, which will be available to purchase from June 1st.
The dragonfly and the small flower are from the stamp set Touches of Textures from Stampin' Up.
All pieces used are Very Vanilla card stock.
Card base - 10 x 6 inches (26 x 15 1/2 cms)
Score @ 5 inches (13 cms)
1 piece @ 4 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches (12 x 14 1/2 cms)
1 piece @ 3 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches (9 x 11 1/2 cms)
The three coloured ink pads I used -
Plus Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad.
With the two smaller pieces of Very Vanilla card stock.
Place the smaller piece on top of the larger piece and secure it so that it does not move. ( I place a clean acrylic stamping block in the centre of mine to prevent it from moving)
Using the Rose Red ink pad. Stamp your daisy/ design across the two pieces of card stock.
Using the stamp off and on technique with the Rose Red ink pad. Stamp the smaller flowers randomly over the pieces of card stock.
With the Peekaboo Peach ink pad. Stamp another daisy on top of the one that you already have, but place the petals so that they are offset to the ones you have previously stamped.
The dragonflies were stamped using the Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad.
With the Pink Pirouette ink pad. Stamp the centre of the daises and also ink around all of your card edges.
Now to build the card.
Using dimensional's, attach the larger piece of the decorated Very Vanilla card stock onto the card base.
Followed by layering the smaller piece of decorated card stock into the centre, again using dimensional's.
Make sure that the stamped images line up against each other.
Attach your sentiment into the centre of your card front. My sentiment is from the stamp set Watercolour Wings from Stampin' Up.
A quick and easy card that is perfect for somebody who may not necessarily have a big stash of goodies.
Using the stamp off and on technique. You would even be able to achieve today's card look with even fewer colours :)
As always I will list the products that have been used down below, remember that each of the images will be linked to where you can purchase the goodies for yourself.
If there is any thing you would like me to do a tutorial on, please don't hesitate to contact me :)
Have a lovely rest of your day and I will be back tomorrow.
Take care & Always sparkle
