◊ Fresh Fig Floral Card

Good Morning Everyone!!!

Today's card is this beautiful three layered card. I have used one of the new in colours from Stampin' Up. Along with some oldies but goodies :)

There are five new colours coming in the new catalogue which will be released in June BUT the ink pad Fresh Fig; along with another two of the new colours are all available in the current bundles that have been released early!! The Eastern Palace Suite collection bundles.

I will link below to my blog post that goes into more detail about each bundle :)

I have used two stamp sets for today's beautiful card. They are Birthday Blooms and the little bee is from Touch of Textures.

Birthday Blooms Clear-Mount Stamp SetTouches of Texture Clear-Mount Stamp Set

Card base - Fresh Fig card stock 10 x 5 inches (25 x 12 1/2 cms)

Score @ 5 inches (12 1/2 cms)

You will need a further two pieces of Fresh Fig card stock

1 piece @ 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches (10 1/2 x 10 1/2 cms)

1 piece @ 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches (8 1/2 x 8 1/2 cms)

Three pieces of Whisper White card stock needed -

1 piece @ 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 inches (11.7 x 11.7 cms)

1 piece @ 4 x 4 inches (10 x 10 cms)

1 piece @ 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches (9 x 9 cms)

Layer the three pieces of Whisper White card stock on top of one another making sure that they are equally spaced on all four sides. Secure.

Using the largest floral stamp from the set Birthday Blooms and a Memento Black ink pad. Stamp across the three layers in the top left corner.

Also with the black ink pad. Stamp two of the smaller flower from the  same stamp set. One in the top right corner and the second in the bottom left corner. As well as the bee stamp from the Touches of Texture stamp set.

The sentiment can also be stamped at this time. It is from the Birthday Blooms set and has been stamped with the Fresh Fig ink pad.

The flowers have been coloured using an aqua painter and the following ink pads:

Pink Pirouette ink pad for the flower petals.

Rose Red ink pad for the centre of the large flower along with the shading of all of the petals.

Pear Pizzazz ink pad for the leaves and stems of all of the flowers.

Garden Green ink pad (optional) for the larger leaves.

Using daubers/ sponges. Ink the edges of the Whisper White card stock with the Fresh Fig ink.

Now it is time to build the card....

Using dimensionals. Attach the two smaller pieces of Whisper White card stock to the piece of Fresh Fig card stock that is 1/4 inch bigger.

Attach the largest piece of Whisper White card stock to the card base piece again with dimensionals.

Back each layering piece to the card base with Snail Adhesive. Make sure to line up the flowers.

I definitely feel that this card is worth the extra time spent on it and I absolutely love the new color Fresh Fig :)

I hope you have enjoyed today's card share and tutorial and as always I will list all products used down below.

Have a fab rest of your day!

Take care and Always sparkle
