🙛 Floral Frame Card 🙚

Good Morning/ Afternoon everyone!

Today I have made this beautiful card to show case for you.

I really wanted to try another frame themed card but, I wanted it to be something different to what I have done previously.

I didn't have a framelit or die that could cut a rectangle shape out for me. So I used a little bit of initiative and used my trimmer.

I really like how this card turned out and I think the flowers around the edges of the frame add a lovely amount of colour :)

Here is how I made my card.

Card base - Very Vanilla card stock - 10 x 6 inches (26 x 15 1/2 cms)

Score @ 5 inches (13 cms)

Layering piece - Sweet Sugarplum card stock - 4 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches (12 x 14 1/2 cms)

Card front - Very Vanilla card stock - 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches (11 1/2 x 14 cms)

This card uses the stamp set Falling Flowers from Stampin' Up.
Falling Flowers Clear-Mount Stamp Set

The stamp needed from this set is the long stem one that is at the bottom of the photo.

Place the card front piece on either your trimmer or score board.

Score at 1 1/4 inches (3 cms) in from the edge on each side.

Using the trimmer, cut between the score lines that you have made.

You should end up with something that looks like this -
Place the piece that has just been cut out back into the middle of the frame.

With a Sahara Sand ink pad and the long stem stamp from the Falling Flowers stamp set.

Stamp several times around the frame. Making sure to also stamp onto the inner piece.

This will give you the continuous patter across your card.

Also with the Sahara Sand ink pad, ink the inside and outside edges of the frame and the edge of the inner piece of card stock.

This card uses the framelits set Flourish Thinlits from Stampin' Up

Flourish Thinlits Dies

You will need the leaf stem, the single leaf, the largest flower and second from largest flower and also the bud stem.

Cut out the following from a piece of Very Vanilla card stock-

Largest flower - 1 piece - Fresh Fig, Pink Pirouette

Second flower - 3 pieces - Fresh Fig, Melon Mambo

Leaf stem - 2 pieces - Garden Green

Bud stem - 2 pieces Garden Green

Single leaf - 3 pieces - Garden Green

Using daubers or sponges and the ink pads written next to the above items. Colour your pieces.

Using a Versamark ink pad. Press in all three of the bud stems and the largest flower centre.

Sprinkle over Gold Embossing Powder and use a heat tool to set.

Now time to build the card.

Place the inside of the frame and the frame on to the piece of Sweet Sugarplum card stock.

Align the two pieces and adhere the inner piece down using tear and tape.

With dimensional, attach the frame piece.

Before you add the flowers. Attach your card front to the card base; using tear and tape or snail adhesive.

Decorate with the flowers how you would like :)

As you can see I focused the cluster of flowers in the bottom left hand corner of the card.

After you have placed your flowers where you would like them to be. Attach the flower centres.

My flower centres are a new diamante that will be in the new catalogue.

They are so so pretty :)
