🙗 Elegant Falling Flowers Card 🙔

Hi Everyone,

Today I am showing you this little note card I made today. It is a very quick and easy project to make. But I think it looks so professional and the black and white, such a classic combo :)

This note card is using the stamp set Falling Flowers from Stampin' Up.

Falling Flowers Clear-Mount Stamp Set

Love this set especially the large swirly stem shaped stamp. I have used that stamp so much since I have purchased this set. It is definitely a stamp that does not have to be used just as a stem :) Beautiful used as corners for cards and boxes too.

Card base - Whisper White card stock - 10 x 5 inches (25 x 12 1/2 cms)

Scored @ 5 inches (12 1/2 cms)

Card front piece - Basic Black card stock - 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches (10 1/2 x 10 1/2 cms)

Using a Memento Black ink pad and the following four stamps from the Falling Flowers stamp set:

The large flower stamp
The cluster of leaves stamp
The 5 petal flower stamp
The medium sized flower stamp

Stamp around the edges of the card base front.

On the Basic Black piece. Using a Whisper White Craft ink pad and the same stamps. Stamp your design.

Advice: The Whisper White ink takes a little longer to dry than the other inks :)

Attach the piece of Basic Black card stock onto the card base using tear and tape.

For the sentiment:

A piece of Whisper White card stock - 3 x 2 inches (71/2 x 5 cms)

A piece of Basic Black card stock - 2 3/4 x 1 3/4 inches (7 x 4/12 cms)

A piece of Whisper White card stock - 2 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches (6 x 4 cms)

Again on to the Whisper White card stock, stamp the leaf cluster and the five petal flower in Memento Black ink.

Layer the sentiment pieces with tear and tape. Then use dimensionals to adhere your sentiment to the card front.

A very quick but elegant note card.

I hope you have enjoyed today's post.
