🙗 Daisy Delight Trio Card 🙔
Today I have yet another sneak peak from the new catalogue for you.
My card I am showing today, is using a brand new bundle that Stampin' Up are releasing in their new catalogue. June 1st.
The bundle is called the Daisy Delight Bundle and it includes a very pretty stamp set and matching punch. The punch cuts out the big daisy that you see on my card today.
I love the colour combination on this card and think it has a very Spring/Summer feel to it.
I cannot wait for the new daisy bundle to be released for public purchase, so I can get to see what everyone will come up with :)
I know that a lot of the items I have used in today's tutorial are not available yet, but I thought I would share how I made it anyway so people could use the same method that I did.
Card base - Very Vanilla card stock - 11 1/2 x 5 3/4 inches (29 x 14 1/2 cms)
Score @ 5 3/4 inches (14 1/2 cms)
1 piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock - 51/2 x 5 1/2 inches (14 x 14 cms)
Three pieces of Very Vanilla card stock -
1 piece @ 2 1/2 x 4 3/4 inches (6 1/2 x 12 cms)
1 piece @ 2 1/8 x 1 7/8 inches (5 1/2 x 5 cms)
1 piece @ 2 1/8 x 3 inches (5 1/2 x 7 1/2 cms)
Three pieces of Design Series Paper -
1 piece @ 2 3/4 x 5 inches (7 x 13 cms)
1 piece @ 2 3/8 x 2 1/8 inches (6 x 5 1/2 cms)
1 piece @ 2 3/8 x 3 1/4 inches (6 x 8 1/2 cms)
The DSP that was used for today's card is also from the new catalogue.
You will also need a piece of Blushing Bride card stock to stamp and cut the flowers from.
Ink pads used -
Berry Burst (New 2017 in-colour)
Onto the piece of Blushing Bride card stock, stamp your chosen flowers ad punch them out.
Using a dauber and the Pink Pirouette and Berry Burst ink pads.
Ink the centres and the edges of all of the petals.
To create the 3D effect for the flowers.
Place each flower; on the opposite side to the stamped detail, on to a sponge pad and run a ball tool down the centre of each petal.
Now turn the flower back over so you can see the stamped details and use the ball tool in small circles in the centre of your flower.
( If you haven't got a ball tool, the opposite end of your paper piercer works just as well)
You will need to make six flowers.
Each of the flowers I have made for today's card has two layers of flowers secured together with a glue dot in the centre. So the six flowers will eventually make 3 flowers :)
Using the Garden Green and Berry Burst ink pads. Onto the middle sized piece of Very Vanilla card stock.
Stamp a floral picture. (The stamp I have used is also from the Daisy Delight stamp set)
On the largest piece of Very Vanilla card stock, using the Garden Green ink pad.
Stamp leaves and grass. Do this in a pattern so that when you attach your flowers to the card stock. They will act as a background picture.
You can now attach your pieces of Very Vanilla card stock to the piece of DSP that is slightly bigger; using dimensionals to do this.
Now time to build up the card -
Using tear and tape, attach the piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock onto the card base.
Arrange your pieces of Very Vanilla card stock so that the two smaller pieces are on the left hand side of the card base.
Then place the largest piece of Very Vanilla on to the right hand side of the card base. Making sure it is evenly placed between the pieces on the left.
Use tear and tape to attach each piece to the card front.
You can now attach the three 3D flowers.
Using glue dots, attach two of the flowers onto the largest piece of Very Vanilla and the last flower onto the piece of Very Vanilla that is at the bottom left corner of the card.
You now have this beautiful floral card.
I hope you have enjoyed today's tutorial and that you are as excited as me to see what other goodies will be available in the new Stampin' Up catalogue.
