New Product Showcase Card
Happy Sunday Everyone!
Today's blog post is about two things!
First one being; as normal. A tutorial and product list for the above featured card.....
Secondly today's card is showcasing one of the new stamp sets that Stampin' Up are releasing May 1st and also one of the brand new in colours for 2017-2018.
The colour being that beautiful dark teal colour you can see making the border for the card front, one of the layers of the card and also it is one of the two colours that have been used to stamp the pattern on the card front.
The new colour is called Tranquil Tide and the stamp set I am showcasing in this blog is called Eastern Beauty.
Eastern Beauty is a suite so there will be Framelits dies, Design Series Paper, accessories, card stock. Pretty much everything you will need to make beautiful gift bags, boxes and cards etc
Fancy a sneak peak at the stamp set??? Of course! Who wouldn't :)
Here it is! xxxx
I can see so much potential with this stamp set. The patterns are endless!
If you are interested, send me a comment or email or a message on my Facebook page :) It would be my pleasure to have you shop through me for all Stampin' Up goodies :)
Now the sneaky peak is done, lets get onto the tutorial :)
Card base - Basic Black card stock measuring 12 x 6 inches (30 1/2 x 15 1/2 cms)
Score at 6 inches (15 1/2 cms)
A piece of Tranquil Tide card stock measuring 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches (14 1/2 x 14 1/2 cms)
A piece of Smoky Slate card stock measuring 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches (14 x 14 cms)
A piece of Whisper White card stock measuring 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 inches (12 x 12 cms)
Using the Eastern Beauty stamp set, a Smoky Slate ink pad and a Tranquil Tide ink pad. Stamp your chosen design onto the piece of Whisper White card stock.
From the Flourish Thinlits Dies, cut the long border die out four times from a piece of Tranquil Tide card stock.
Now time to build your card.
Using tear and tape, layer the piece of Tranquil Tide card stock onto the card base.
With the card front, lay this on top of the piece of Smoky Slate card stock diagonally, so the corners overlap the edges of the card.
Cut the corners of the Whisper White card stock off so that it is level with the Smoky Slate piece.
Using a fine tip glue pen, attach the border die cuts along the edge of the card front.
Again trim any overlapping corners off.
With dimensionals, attach the card front to the card base.
The sentiment was made by using a stamp from the set Suite Sentiments.
The sentiment was stamped on to a piece of Whisper White card stock using the Tranquil Tide ink pad. This was then backed onto a piece of Basic Black card stock.
Attach the sentiment to the card front using dimensionals.
Your card is made :)
