❁Quick and Easy Buzzy Bee Card❁
Hello all! Welcome back to today's card share and tutorial.
As it is Monday morning and we are all still getting out of "weekend" mode. I thought I would share this cute card which is quick and easy to make. A good warm up for your fingers ready for the crafting day ahead :)
I love the bee stamp that is in the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set. I wanted to focus on that to see what I could come up with.
Along with the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set from Stampin' Up. I have also used the stamp set Garden in Bloom to make today's card.
One thing I like about the Garden in Bloom stamp set is not only do you have stamps for the outline of flowers, bees and butterflies. You also get in the set, stamps to fill in the centre of the outlines. It definitely makes adding colour a lot easier :)
I hope you enjoy today's tutorial :)
Card base - Whisper White card stock measuring 11 1/2 x 5 3/4 inches (29 x 14 1/2 cms)
Score @ 5 3/4 inches ( 14 1/2 cms)
Layer piece of card stock - In colour 2016 - 2018 DSP from Stampin' Up measuring 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches (14 x 14 cms)
Card front - Whisper White card stock measuring 5 x 5 inches (13 x 13 cms)
Using a Night of Navy ink pad. Stamp the outline of the larger flower three times in opposite corners of the card front.
With the in fill stamp for the same flower, stamp the centre flower in each corner with Tempting Turquoise ink.
Also using the Tempting Turquoise ink pad, ink the edges of the card front and card base.
With Memento Black ink, stamp Mr bumble bee from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set a few times in a diagonal pattern across the centre of the card front.
Time to build the card.
With dimensionals attach the card front to the layer piece of DSP.
With tear and tape, attach above piece to the card base.
The sentiment used is from the Garden in Bloom stamp set. This was stamped with a Night of Navy ink pad onto a piece of Whisper White card stock.
Using dimensionals, attach the piece of Whisper White to a piece of the same DSP used in today's card.
Place the sentiment onto the card front using tear and tape.
Voila! Your card is made.
See, quick and easy and now your fingers are all warmed up to continue making your beautiful crafts :)
