♦♢Dragonflies & Textures Card♢♦
Good Morning/ Afternoon Everyone,
Today I am here to show you my tutorial for the above card. I am using the Touch of Textures stamp set and because it also has a dragonfly stamp in it. I thought that it would go really well with the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies from Stampin' Up.
|Touches of Texture Stamp Set|
There is also a stamp set that goes with the Dies called Dragonfly Dreams. A beautiful stamp set. Both of which can be currently purchased in a bundle package.

I will link all items at the end of this post.
The main colour for this card is Bermuda Bay which is this really pretty turquoise blue colour. It is one of my favourite shades from Stampin' Up :)
Card base - Bermuda Bay card stock measuring 11 3/4 (A4) x 6 inches (29 1/2 x 15 cms)
1st Layer - Whisper White card stock measuring 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches (14 1/2 x 14 1/2 cms)
Top Layer - Bermuda Bay card stock measuring 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches (14 x 14 cms)
You will also need 2 pieces of;
Whisper White card stock - 2 x 2 inches (5 x5 cms)
Island Indigo card stock - 2 1/8 x 2 1/8 inches (5 1/2 x 5 1/2 cms)
Whisper White card stock 3 x 5 1/4 inches (7 1/2 x 13.3 cms)
Island Indigo card stock 3 1/8 x 5 3/8 inches (8 x 13.7 cms)
From the Touch of Textures stamp set with a Smoky Slate ink pad. Stamp the honeycomb style stamp on the three smaller pieces of Whisper White.
On the rectangle piece of Whisper White, stamp the dragonfly stamp in Bermuda Bay ink a couple of times.
Also stamp your chosen sentiment. (I used a Island Indigo ink pad for my sentiment)
Back all three pieces of Whisper White card stock; using dimensionals onto your pieces of Island Indigo card stock.
From the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits set. Select the group of dragonflies die and cut out of Bermuda Bay card stock.
Time to build your card.
Using tear and tape attach the three pieces of Whisper White card stock on to the top layer piece.
Again using tear and tape, attach the card front onto the larger piece of Whisper White card stock and then onto the card base.
Finally using a fine tip glue pen. Adhere the cut out dragonflies across the left side of your card. (Feel free to cut the die cut down if you want your dragonflies to be placed differently)
Voila! You are done. The most time consuming part of this card was the cutting out but it was definitely worth it :)
As always I will list all of the products I used down below. These will also be links so you can purchase any items that you would like to.
I hope you all have a fab rest of your day and I will see you all back tomorrow :)
