⁕Cherry Flower Card⁕
How are we all today?? I hope you are all well and having a fab day where ever you are :)
Today I have come to show you the above card. This card very much features the beautiful colour Cherry Cobbler from Stampin' Up. A deep red shade which is so rich in colour. I love it!
The stamp set I am focusing on today is the Touches of Textures stamp set; also from Stampin' Up. This set has given me so many different ideas and ways to decorate a card. I use it a lot!
For today's card I have used the three flower stamps and the bumble bee out of this stamp set.
I have also used this stamp set to make my own design paper to co-ordinate with this card.
Card base - a piece of Sahara Sand card stock measuring 10 x 6 inches (25 1/2 x 15.3 cms)
Custom design paper is a piece of Very Vanilla card stock measuring 4 1/8 x 5 3/4 inches (10 1/2 x 14 1/2 cms)
You will also need a further three pieces of Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla card stock in the following sizes -
Very Vanilla card stock
1 piece @ 3 x 5 inches (7 1/2 x 12 1/2 cms)
1 piece @ 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches (6 1/2 x 11 1/2 cms)
1 piece @ 2 x 4 inches ( 5 x 10 cms)
Sahara Sand card stock
1 piece @ 3 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches ( 8 /2 x 13 1/2 cms)
1 piece @ 2 3/4 x 4 3/4 inches (7 x 12 cms)
1 piece @ 2 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches (6 x 11 cms)
Lets make the custom Design paper first.
Using the two smaller flowers from the stamp set.
Stamp the bigger of the two flowers using a Sahara Sand ink pad and a Cherry Cobbler ink pad to stamp the smallest flower.
Stamp your flowers randomly over your piece of Very Vanilla card stock. Set aside.
Stack the three smallest pieces of Very Vanilla card stock in the middle; on top of each other.
Using the Cherry Cobbler ink pad. Stamp the largest flower in opposite corners making sure it covers the three layers of card stock.
Make sure to hold the pieces of card stock still whilst you are stamping.
In the centre of the top piece, stamp your sentiment.
The sentiment I used is from the stamp set Beautiful You.
Using a Versamark ink pad, stamp two of the bumble bee stamp in opposite corners to each other.
Sprinkle over Copper Embossing Powder and then use a heat tool to change and set the powder.
Once the embossing powder has dried, attach each piece of the Very Vanilla card stock to the piece of Sahara Sand card stock which is 1/4 inch (1/2 cm) larger in size.
I used tear and tape
Now time to build your card :)
Again using tear and tape, attach your custom design paper to the right hand side of the card base.
To the left hand side of the card; overlapping the design paper. Layer up your stacked design. Use dimensionals to adhere each piece.
A quick and easy card for you to make for any last minute occasion or if you want to send a quick note to a loved one or friend.
