💠Blue Floral Card💠

Morning all,

Today's post is a quick and easy project. A very pretty little card that would be perfect if you are wanting to send a quick note or to let someone know you are thinking of them.

I adore the color of this card and the design series paper I have used is beautiful. The paper is called, Cupcakes and Carousels from Stampin' Up. This paper pack has quite a vintage feel and I really like the patterns that are available with this paper pack.

TUTORIAL

Card base

Pool Party card stock measuring 9 x 4 1/2 inches (22 1/2 x 11 1/2 cms) Scored 4 1/2 inches (11 1/2 cms)

Cupcakes and Carousels DSP 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches (10 1/2 x 10 1/2 cms)

Using the Garden in Bloom stamp set. Stamp the flower in a diagonal line across the card using a Night of Navy ink pad.

Ink around the edges of the DSP and the centre of each flower using a Bermuda Bay ink pad. Doing this gives the centre of the flowers a nice shadow effect.

Using Snail Adhesive, attach the design paper to the card base.

Sentiment

To make the sentiment for this card, I took a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock and stamped my chosen sentiment using my Night of Navy ink pad. This sentiment is also from the Garden in Bloom stamp set.

I cut the sentiment out using the Decorative Label Punch and again inked around the edges with the Bermuda Bay ink pad.

Attach sentiment to the card using Dimensionals.

Voila!

See told you :) It still surprises me how something so pretty can only take 5 minutes to make.

I hope you have enjoyed today's tutorial. I will be back tomorrow with another little project for us to make together.

Have a fabulous rest of your day.

Take care and always sparkle

Stazzy
