🌸Rose Red Flower Card🌸

Welcome back every one,

I wanted to showcase today, what you could do if you only had one or two ink pads and coloured card stock. You don't have to have a craft room full of goodies to make a beautiful card. (even though that is what we all dream of haha)

Looking at today's card, you may think that I used different ink pads to stamp the flowers and leaves, but that is not the case. All three flowers and their leaves were made using jsut two ink pads; Rose Red and Garden Green.

As you can see from the above example. To get the different tones from one ink pad. You just use the "Stamp off & on" technique. I don't know if that is the correct name for this technique or not hahaha this is just what I decided to call it whilst I was doing it.

All the technique is, is depending on what tone you want will tell you how many stamp offs you do before you stamp on your card.

Go on, have a play with the colours you have and you will soon see how may different tones and effects you can come up with.

TUTORIAL

The base for this card is Rose Red card stock measuring 11 inches x 6 1/2. (28cms x 16 1/2 cms)

Using the stamp set Garden in bloom and a piece of  Whisper White card stock, which measures 5 inches x 4 inches (12 1/2 cms x 10 cms) . I stamped the design I wanted.

Cut your finished picture into strips 1 1/4 inches x 4 (3 cms x 10 cms)

Back the strips on to Red Rose card stock measuring 1 1/2 inches x 4 1/4 (4 cms x 11 cms)

Using Stampin' Up dimensionals, space out and adhere to a piece of Whisper White card stock 4 5/8 x 6 inches (11 1/2 x 15 cms)

With Tear and Tape, attach to the card base.

Add the sentiment and decorations you wish and voila!! You will have a beautiful card. Which looks like you have used so many more colours.

For decoration; using the Butterfly Punch. I punched out a butterfly using Whisper White and Rose Red card stock. I also punched my chosen sentiment out using the same coloured card stock with the Decorative Label Punch.

I hope you have enjoyed today's card and you are enjoying the more regular blog posts I have been creating for you.

As always I will list all products used below. With the link to my Stampin' Up shop page and Facebook Page also. I would love to see what makes you make :)

Enjoy creating x

Take care and always sparkle!

Stazzy xxx
