💝Love in a frame💝
Good Afternoon everyone,
I know Valentines Day has passed but I still wanted to share with you a little gift; I made my husband. To give you some inspiration and ideas.
I really like these frames because the designs and sentiments you could use are endless. They are fab for if you want to just let someone know you are thinking of them and want something to either accompany a card or be given instead of a card. I will have a separate blog post up; tomorrow. Where I will go in depth on how I made the frame.
Today I just wanted to show what I had made and what goodies from Stampin' Up I used.
I made the frame using Basic Black card stock and used Whisper White for the back ground and sentiment background.
Frame & background
Whisper White card stock- 106549 -4 1/4 inch squared (10 1/2 cms)
Basic Black card stock - 121688
Whisper White - 2 1/2 x 2 1/4 inches (6 1/2 x 5 1/2cms)
Stamp used for sentiment - Love Sparkles - 143183
All other stamps - Sealed with Love - 142815
Cherry Cobber ink pad - 126966
Smoky Slate ink pad - 131179
For the embossed heart decoration
Whisper White card stock
Stamp set - Sealed with Love
Versamark ink pad - 102283
Copper embossing powder - 141636
Stampin' Up Heat Tool - 129054
Dimensionals - 104430
Snail Adhesive- 104332
This was so simple to decorate this frame. I first stamped; using my smoky slate ink pad. The; I am going to call them swipes. Obviously this isnt the technical term but I have no idea what else to call them haha. The "swipe" stamp was from the Sealed with Love stamp set. As was the lip stamp, which I stamped using my Cherry Cobbler ink pad.
The sentiment Love was also stamped with Cherry Cobbler and was from the stamp set; Love Sparkles.
I then adhered my finished sentiment to the frame using dimensionals.
For the finishing touches. I stamped out (using Versamark), one of the heart stamps from the Sealed with Love stamp set.
Sprinkled over the copper embossing powder and used the heat tool to make the magic happen. So mesmerising seeing the embossing powder change from powder to the shiny sparkly finish that you get.
I then cut out the hearts with scissors and attached them to the frame using my snail adhesive. And Voila!!
Something that takes only a little time to decorate but people will really appreciate and cherish. Beautiful!
Like I said I will be back on tomorrow to show you the tutorial that I use to make the frames and I will also be showing you a few different designs that I came up with whilst playing around with them.
As you have already read, I have placed all of the product codes that were used above and I will leave the link to my Stampin' Up shop page below. Also I will put a link to my Facebook Page.
Hope you all have a fab rest of your day and I will see you all tomorrow.
Come and see me over on Facebook xx
