๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™Birthday Flowers๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š

๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™Birthday Flowers๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š

Evening everybody!!!! I am so pleased to welcome you back. The card I will be talking about today is.......

This card was so much fun to make as it included me getting out my markers and doing some colouring. This took me right back to my childhood, I have always enjoyed colouring ๐Ÿ˜†
I chose to do this design as I just loved the contrast between the black and white against the pop of colour from the pictures.

Here is how I made my card ๐Ÿ˜Š

First thing is first!. You can either colour a picture in yourself , choose your favourite paper or make your own paper with your ink pads and stamps. So grab your markers, felt tips, crayons, pencils; whatever you love to use. Have fun with it!! The world is your oyster ๐Ÿ’œ

You will need four pieces of your chosen design paper; each measuring 2 1/2 inches by 21/2 inches ( which is 6 1/2 cms) A little tip, if your making this card with paper you have coloured in yourself. Colour in and then cut, its easier. Believe me! I got caught out with that one ๐Ÿ˜‚ Nightmare! hahaha

Then you will need 4 pieces of black card stock measuring 2 3/4 inches square (7 cms square) This will give you that fine line of contrast between your decorative squares and your card base.

For your card base, you will need a piece of card stock measuring 6 1/4 inches (16 cms) by 11 inches (28 cms) I used white card stock to co-inside with the background of my flower pictures.

I used tear and tape to adhere my floral pictures to their backing and then I used dimensionals to adhere the four squares onto the card base. I wanted them to stand off the of the card slightly. Space them out how every you think they look best๐Ÿ˜Š

The sentiment was made by using the stamp set Endless Birthday Wishes from Stampin Up. This set has 25! different words to make your Birthday sentiment your own. I chose the sentiment I wanted and stamped it onto a piece of Whisper White card stock that measured 1 3/4 inch square (4 1/2 cms) and layered that onto a 2 inch (5cm) square piece of black card stock. As you can see from the picture I have snipped off the corners too.

Attach the sentiment to the card by again using tear and tape.

To finish this beautiful card off. I just placed a strip of ribbon along the bottom of the card and affixed a matching bow. Voila!

I hope you have enjoyed today's card as much as I have enjoyed writing this tutorial for you. Like I say every time, make it your own and enjoy ๐Ÿ˜—

Also just a side note, the ribbon and colour in paper I used is from Stampin Up. Which may I add was FREE!!!!! Yes! free! There is a fab offer on at the minute with Stampin Up called Sale-a-bration. Where if you order £45 worth of goodies. Which lets be honest is not hard ๐Ÿ˜‚you get to choose something from a selection of freebies they have. How cool is that! The selection includes these papers (which are 12 x 12 sheets AND you get 12 sheets!), the ribbon, stamps. All things yummy.
If you would like to know more details about Sale-a-bration then honestly; please feel free to contact me either through here or my Stampin Up shop page. So if you spend £90 then you would get two! ๐Ÿ˜
