🙙 Butterflies & Flowers Card 🙚

Good Morning Everyone!!

I hope you are all well and those in the UK are enjoying the lovely warm weather we are having for a change :)

Today I will be showing you how I made the card you see in the photograph above. This card is using two of my all time favourite sets..

Butterfly Basics Wood-Mount Stamp SetTouches Of Texture Wood-Mount Stamp Set

Butterfly Basics & Touches of Texture. (Stampin' Up)

The Butterfly Basics stamp set is still very new to me as I have only just purchased it this month. But I have used it more than I have used stamp sets I have owned for six months. I absolutely love it!!

TUTORIAL

Card base - Fresh Fig card stock - 11 x 5 1/2 inches (28 x 14 cms)

Score @ 5 1/2 inches (14 cms)

Whisper White card stock -

2 pieces @ 5 x 5 inches (13 x 13 cms)

Also you will need a piece of white card to stamp the large floral image on.

Blushing Bride card stock - 5 1/4  x 5 1/4 inches (13 1/2 x 13 1/2 cms)

Using the large floral stamp from the Touches of Texture set.

Stamp the flower all over one of the 5 x 5 inch pieces of Whisper White card stock, using a Sweet Sugarplum ink pad.

Stamp the small text butterfly (Butterfly Basics stamp set) on the same piece of Whisper White card stock, using a Fresh Fig ink pad.

From the Stitched Shaped Framelits, die cut out a square in the top right hand corner of the card stock. (I used the square that was the second biggest)

On the piece of card stock that was cut out. Stamp your chosen sentiment. Use a black ink pad for this.

Attach dimensional's on all of the edges around the stamped piece of card stock and also around the edge of the square section that has been cut out.

Layer the stamped piece of card stock onto the second piece of Whisper White card stock.

With tear and tape, attach the sentiment piece so that it is lined up with the space it was cut from. (It should sit lower down to the rest of the card front due to the dimensional's that were used)

Stamp the large floral image from the Butterfly Basics stamp set onto a piece of Whisper White card stock, using the Fresh Fig ink pad.

Fussy cut the image out.

Position the image onto the card front; left of the sentiment window.

Place a pearl gem into the centre of the flower.

Attach the card front onto the piece of Blushing Bride card stock using tear and tape.

Finally attach the card front to the card base with dimensional's.

Voila!

I hope you will try out today's card. If you do, please share with me your makes. I really enjoy seeing what you make :)

Any questions, please get in touch with me either on here, Facebook or email.

I hope you all have a lovely rest of your day.

🙐 Coffee Cup Fathers Day Card 🙓

Hi Everyone!

Thank you for popping over here today, I hope you all have had a lovely weekend.

Today, I am sharing with you all how I made this cute coffee cup card.

I really like the contrast of the coloured in images against the wood effect tiles. I think the two together give this card a very modern look :)

The coffee cup images are from one of the new paper packs from Stampin' Up.
Just Add Color Specialty Designer Series Paper

I can not wait to have lots of fun working with these sheets for different cards :)

1 piece @ 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches (9 1/2 x 9 1/2 cms)

Stamp set used -

Timeless Textures

Ink pads used -

Sahara Sand

Chocolate Chip

Using the wood effect stamp from the Timeless Textures set with the Sahara Sand ink pad. Stamp all over the piece of whisper white card stock which measures 3 3/4 inches (9 1/2 cms)

In certain areas of the card stock, re stamp the wood effect but this time using the chocolate chip ink pad.

Also using the chocolate chip ink pad, stamp the coffee stain stamp from the set in a few different areas.

Cut this piece of whisper white into 1 1/4 inch squares. (3 1/2 cms)

Cut the piece of sahara sand card stock into squares that measure 1 1/2 inches (4 cms)

You should have 9 pieces of both card stock.

For each square of sahara sand card stock. Attach a square of whisper white card stock over the top; using dimensionals.

Use markers to colour in the five coffee/tea cups you want to use from the Just Add Colour paper.

Once you have coloured the cups, fussy cut around each one of them.

Attach the remaining piece of whisper white card stock onto the card base using tear and tape.

Arrange the wood effect tiles on to the whisper white card and once you are happy with the placement. Use tear and tape to attach them.

Using glue dots/tape. Place a cup in each of the four corner tiles and the centre tile.

Now all that is left to complete your card is the sentiment.

The sentiment I chose for my card today is from the stamp set World Best Trophy. (Stampin' Up)

Use dimensional's to secure your sentiment to the centre of the card front.

Voila!!

The card is now complete :)

I hope you have enjoyed today's tutorial and once again. Thank you so much for popping over today :)

As always everything I have used today will be listed down below.

✧ Birthday Pocket Card ✧

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all are enjoying your weekend :)

Today's tutorial is for a pocket Birthday card. I wanted to trial a new type of card as I haven't tried any new styles for a couple of weeks now.

I really like the subtlety of the colours used in today's card and also the simplicity of the look it achieves.

This make could also work really well as a small stash make as it only uses two colours of card stock and two colours of ink.

The stamp set I have used today is the Happiest of Days set from Stampin Up.

Happiest of Days Clear-Mount Stamp Set

TUTORIAL

Card stock needed -

White card stock (3 pieces)

1 piece @ 6 x 3 inches (15 1/2 x 7 1/2 cms)

1 piece @ 6 x 5 inches (15 1/2 x 13 cms)

1 piece @ 4 x 4 inches (10 1/2 x 10 1/2 cms)

Soft Sky card stock (1 piece)

6 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches (16 x 13 1/2 cms)

Ink pads used -

Marina Mist

Soft Sky

On the largest piece of white card stock, firstly stamp the cake image from the set using the soft sky ink pad.

Re-stamp over the top of the cake images using the Marina Mist ink pad. (You are wanting the two colours to be slightly off set from each other)

Next with the piece of white card that measures 6 x 3 inches (15 1/2 x 7 1/2 cms)

Use the Marina Mist ink pad to stamp the set of presents.

Once on the left hand side of the card stock and once on the right hand side.

In the centre, stamp the cake image using the Marina Mist ink pad.

With a strong adhesive, attach a strip of silver ribbon along the top edge of the card stock you have just stamped.

Attach the smaller piece of white card stock to the larger one by using dimensional's down each side and a strip of tear and tape along the bottom edge. (This will create the pocket and your card front)

Back the card front onto the soft sky card stock using tear and tape.

For the sentiment, I used a stamp from the set called Happy Birthday Gorgeous. (Stampin' Up)

Stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment; from the set onto a piece of white card using the marina mist ink pad.

Re-stamp the sentiment a little off centre with the soft sky ink pad.

Use the 2" circle punch to cut the sentiment out.

Attach the circle only to the bottom half of the pocket. Use tear and tape.

For the cards insert, stamp a sentiment onto the square piece of white card stock.

Attach a blue gem onto the centre of the top edge and place the insert into the pocket.

Voila!!

You now have a really simple but pretty card.

As always, everything used will be listed down below.

I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend and I will see you all tomorrow.

🙗 Dino-rrific Birthday Card 🙔

Hi Everyone,

Today I wanted to come and show you a card I have made using a stamp set that I have recently purchased and I LOVE it! :)

I have two dinosaur mad little boys who are 4 and 6 years old and they had been asking me to buy this set from Stampin' Up for ages. As their birthdays are both coming up, I thought now would be the time because at least then I would have an idea what to use it for. But honestly, since it has been delivered. I cannot stop playing with it.

The dinos in the set are so cute and I love the fact that you also get the stamps for the dinosaurs skeletons. I have so many ideas to use these stamps, so if you love them as much as I do. Keep an eye out for future projects :)

The stamp set I am talking about is the "No Bones about it" stamp set.

No Bones About It Photopolymer Stamp Set

Look how cute it is!!

For today's card, I have used this stamp set alongside the set called Butterfly Basics. The large fern stamp you get in the Butterfly Basics stamp set pairs up perfectly with the dinosaurs.

TUTORIAL

Card base -

Basic Black card stock 12 x 6 inches (31 x 15 1/2 cms)

Score @ 6 inches (15 1/2 cms)

Card stock used -

Whisper White card stock -

1 piece @ 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches (11 1/2 x 11 1/2 cms)

1 piece @ 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches (14 x 14 cms)

Basic Gray card stock -

1 piece @ 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 inches (12 1/2 x 12 1/2 cms)

1 piece @ 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches (15 x 15 cms)

Ink pad colours used -

Garden Green

Peekaboo Peach

Sahara Sand

Basic Gray

On the smaller piece of white card stock, stamp three of the dinosaurs facing in all directions using the following colours.

Garden Green for the Triceratops (The horned dinosaur)

Peekaboo Peach for the Diplodocus (The long necked dinosaur)

Sahara Sand for the Stegasaurus. (The dinosaur with the plates on its back)

All of the dinosaurs were stamped using the stamp off and on technique.

Using the Basic Gray ink pad. Stamp on the dinosaurs skeletons.

Once you have finished stamping the skeletons. Back the piece of white card on to the piece of grey card stock using dimensional's.

On the larger piece of white card stock.

Stamp the large fern from the Butterfly Basics stamp set with the Garden Green ink pad, twice into opposite corners.

In the other two corners, stamp the small fern leaf from the dinosaur stamp set; three times with the Garden Green ink pad.

Using the Sahara Sand ink pad, stamp the pointy set of footprints stamp on all four sides; in line with the large ferns.

The small flower from the butterfly stamp set; as you can see. Has been stamped in each corner using the Peekaboo Peach ink pad.

Back the white card stock onto the larger piece of grey card stock with dimensional's.

Place the dinosaur layer on top of the larger layer and attach the two pieces together using tear and tape. This is now your card front.

Now you can attach the card front piece to the card base; also using the tear and tape.

To make the sentiment, I have stamped two of the sentiments that are in the dinosaur stamp set together onto a piece of Whisper White card stock.

One of the sentiments has been stamped in Basic Gray ink and the other has been stamped underneath using the Peakaboo Peach ink pad.

Using a pair of scissors. Cut little triangles out of some of the edges around the sentiments.

Back your sentiment piece onto some grey card stock using dimensional's and again cut out the same triangles as you cut before.

Attach to a piece of Basic Black card stock.

With tear and tape, place the sentiment into the centre of the card front.

Voila! Your card is now complete :)

I had so much fun making this card and I hope if you try this card out for yourself. You will have as much fun as I did :)
