🙙 Butterflies & Flowers Card 🙚
Good Morning Everyone!!
I hope you are all well and those in the UK are enjoying the lovely warm weather we are having for a change :)
Today I will be showing you how I made the card you see in the photograph above. This card is using two of my all time favourite sets..
Butterfly Basics & Touches of Texture. (Stampin' Up)
The Butterfly Basics stamp set is still very new to me as I have only just purchased it this month. But I have used it more than I have used stamp sets I have owned for six months. I absolutely love it!!
Card base - Fresh Fig card stock - 11 x 5 1/2 inches (28 x 14 cms)
Score @ 5 1/2 inches (14 cms)
Whisper White card stock -
2 pieces @ 5 x 5 inches (13 x 13 cms)
Also you will need a piece of white card to stamp the large floral image on.
Blushing Bride card stock - 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches (13 1/2 x 13 1/2 cms)
Using the large floral stamp from the Touches of Texture set.
Stamp the flower all over one of the 5 x 5 inch pieces of Whisper White card stock, using a Sweet Sugarplum ink pad.
Stamp the small text butterfly (Butterfly Basics stamp set) on the same piece of Whisper White card stock, using a Fresh Fig ink pad.
From the Stitched Shaped Framelits, die cut out a square in the top right hand corner of the card stock. (I used the square that was the second biggest)
On the piece of card stock that was cut out. Stamp your chosen sentiment. Use a black ink pad for this.
Attach dimensional's on all of the edges around the stamped piece of card stock and also around the edge of the square section that has been cut out.
Layer the stamped piece of card stock onto the second piece of Whisper White card stock.
With tear and tape, attach the sentiment piece so that it is lined up with the space it was cut from. (It should sit lower down to the rest of the card front due to the dimensional's that were used)
Stamp the large floral image from the Butterfly Basics stamp set onto a piece of Whisper White card stock, using the Fresh Fig ink pad.
Fussy cut the image out.
Position the image onto the card front; left of the sentiment window.
Place a pearl gem into the centre of the flower.
Attach the card front onto the piece of Blushing Bride card stock using tear and tape.
Finally attach the card front to the card base with dimensional's.
I hope you will try out today's card. If you do, please share with me your makes. I really enjoy seeing what you make :)

I hope you all have a lovely rest of your day.
